Q & A with Kelly:
Q: What aspect of your career excites you?
A: I like thank I am given the freedom on a project to be creative and bring another element to a project that has been done before.
Q: What are your standards of success?
A: I grew up hearing, "Do it right or don't do it at all." I never used it as an excuse to not do it. Rather, I took it as a challenge to not only do it right but give it a little extra.
Q: What do you consider the most important contribution you have made in your current position?
A: I love my position as Director of First Impressions. The title alone sets a high standard that I try to meet in every situation. I love the people that I work with and I love meeting the people that come into our office. If a client leaves impressed , then I've done my job. If I've made a co-worker feel special, then I've done my job.

personal...
Q: Where did you grow up? What was it like or how has it changed?
A: I grew up in Kingsburg, California, a Swedish Village. It is a small town where everyone knows everyone and everyone's business. My father was a farmer and heard all the latest news at the Coffee Shop. There was definitely accountability living there. I never wanted to be the "talk of the Coffee Shop." My mother was a bookeeper and worked for a local CPA accounting firm. We lived on the Kings river so summers were all about water sports. Kingsburg has grown but still has the small town feel. Just not as many blondes live there now.
Q: Describe your favorite vacation.
A: I love to travel and have traveled quite a lot. I've been to New York, Canada, Mazatlan four times, Hawaii sixteen tiems and other destinations as well. My favorite quick getaway is Monterey. My favorite family getaway is Bass Lake or Ventura. But my favorite vacation was when my husband and I took our four little girls and my mother and father to Disneyland. My parents never traveled and to see the look on all their faces when they passed through the ticket booth into Disneyland was priceless!
Q: Who has inspired you in life and why?
A: My family inspires me. MY great grandmother was 4'11" and dies at 98 and my gandmother was 4'10" and died at 97. They were wonderful people who lived long and touched many lives. Even though I have many aunts, uncles and cousins, numbering over a hundred, we are a very close family. Doctors, dentists, teachers, farmers, whatever I need they are my "go to people" and they inspire me everyday.
